Two DIY Ornaments

Since we're kind of getting into the holiday spirit, here are two adorable Christmas DIYS!

What you'll need (for ice-cream tutorial):
  • Brown paper bag
  • Scissors
  • Hot glue
  • Many different colors of tissue paper
  • Needle
  • Thread
Step by step tutorial:
  1. To make a cone: cut circles from the brown bag (4-5 inches in diameter), and then cut the circles in half. Curl them up into a cone shape, and secure with hot glue.
  2. Take your tissue paper, and wad it into small spheres to look like "scoops".
  3. Poke a hole in the ball that will be the top scoop with a needle & thread, making sure some thread sticks out. Cut off the string and tie the two sides together.
  4. Apply hot glue on the bottom rim of your cone, and push the bottom scoop inside. Apply more glue on top of the bottom scoop and attach the top scoop to it. Let dry, and you're done!
What you'll need ( for sweater heart tutorial ):
  • Old sweater
  • Needle
  • Thread
Step by step instruction:
  1. Cut out a heart ( or another object of your choice ) from the thickest part of the sweater.
  2. Take a needle, and loop it through the top of your object, and tie it off.
