- Mason jar
- Spray glue (Elmer's Spray Adhesive is a good glue)
- Glitter
- Battery-run lights (in picture above)
- Decorative rocks
- Funnel (recommended)
- Paper
- Scissors
- Double-sided tape
- Heart stencil and pencil (optional)
- Cut out a heart from a piece of paper- you can use a stencil and pencil to make the shape of the heart, if you'd like. To learn how to make a perfect heart without a stencil, click here.
- Using double-sided tape, tape your heart into the inside of the jar, smack-dab in the center.
- Spray the entire inside of the jar with your spray glue. Make sure to coat every spot.
- Pour in your glitter using the funnel, and let dry. When dried, pour out any excess glitter.
- Peel off the heart and you'll have a little heart window. Put in some decorative rocks, and put the battery-operated light on top.
Whenever you turn it on and turn all the lights off, you'll have a cute glass lantern!
